Biography

Alihossein Piray holds a B.Sc. in Animal Science from Yasouj University (February 2004), an M.Sc. in Poultry Nutrition from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (September 2007), and a Ph.D. in the same specialization from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (September 2014). During his M.Sc., he investigated the effects of feed additives (probiotics and prebiotics) on broiler chickens reared under normal conditions. For his Ph.D., he examined the effects of chromium and vitamin C on broiler chickens subjected to transport stress and heat stress. Currently, in addition to conducting research in the field of poultry nutrition, he is also engaged in nutritional modeling. He began his formal collaboration with Razi University in September 2019.
