Biography

Farid Rezaei was born in 1979 in Shahrekord, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. He was admitted to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program at Shahrekord University in 1997 and received his degree in 2003.

In 2007, he continued his academic education in the field of Parasitology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Urmia University. In 2010, he was awarded an academic scholarship by Razi University. Following the completion of his studies, he joined the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Razi University, where he has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Parasitology since 2011.

From 2014 to 2017, he served as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Razi University. In 2017, he also joined the Board of Directors of Zistyar Mehr Andish, a knowledge-based company currently operating at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran. The company is involved in research and development in the fields of wound dressings and cosmetic masks.

His primary research interests focus on arthropods and protozoan parasites. In addition to teaching parasitology courses, his academic and educational activities include honeybee science, animal rights, and laboratory management.
