Biography

Dr. Ali Karamyan, born in 1990 in Kermanshah, began his higher education in veterinary medicine, earning his doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Razi University between 2009 and 2016. After ranking first in the national veterinary specialty entrance exam, he was accepted in 2016 into the Small Animal Internal Diseases program at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. He successfully completed his residency after also achieving the first rank in the small animal internal medicine board examination in 2020.

His academic career began in 2019 as a visiting professor at the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Razi University, and was further solidified in 2024 by joining the faculty as a faculty member in the clinical sciences group.

In addition to his academic background, Dr. Karamyan served as the wildlife veterinarian for the Kermanshah department of environment protection from 2021 to 2023. Since 2021, he has also been working as a veterinarian and member of the ethics committee at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences. Furthermore, he has been practicing as a small animal clinician at a veterinary hospital in Kermanshah since 2018 to the present.
